Arcade Games, Vinyl Records, and Coffee an Engagement Session in Waverly

Updated: Jan 12

Engagement sessions are about more than just beautiful photos—they’re an opportunity to tell your unique love story in a way that feels authentic to you. For this Waverly engagement session, we leaned into all the fun and quirky the neighborhood has to offer.

We started the session at The Dugout, an arcade tucked inside Peabody Heights Brewery. Surrounded by the glow of vintage arcade machines and the sounds of pinball and laughter, this couple’s playful side shined. There’s something about a little friendly competition that makes the chemistry come alive in photos!

Next, we headed to Normals Books & Records, a cozy spot perfect for bookworms and music lovers alike. The couple browsed the shelves, flipping through vinyl records and sharing their favorite finds. The intimate setting allowed for some truly candid moments, capturing their connection in a space that felt like home.

To wrap up the session, we stopped at Red Emma’s, a recently opened community-focused coffee shop.

If you’re planning your engagement session, think about the spots that hold meaning for you. Whether it’s your favorite neighborhood haunts or somewhere entirely new, it’s those personal touches that make your photos truly one-of-a-kind.
